Swissmoto 07
Posted on Sunday, March 04 @ 21:14:04 CET by Adam

Motorcycling Of course Phil and I attended the Swissmoto trade show. The highlight was a street bike freestyle competition, which had some amazingly talented riders performing spectacular wheelies, stoppies, burnouts, etc., with 1000cc machines. I made some videos of that but they turned out rather poor quality so I decided not to post them. Here are some photos instead:

A customized Speed Triple. Too conservative in black IMO.

Another customized Speed Triple. Better, but still wouldn't trade it for mine... ;-)

When I live to be 50 years old I will grow a big beard and trade in my Speed Triple for one of these Rocket 3-s...

...and hang out with these guys:

A Goldwing airbag. But why does it have to be pink???

This was sexy despite the pinkness: A girl's Buell?! I'd like to meet the target demographic.

Instead I got to meet Asimo, Honda's humanoid robot. It can now run and climb stairs. Cute, but still a long way to go until we have Mechwarrior grade stuff.

Vmax-es seem to be really popular with the customizing crowd, here is a nice one:

Phil doing a stationary test ride.

The freestyle competition.
