Season's end
Posted on Sunday, November 26 @ 23:57:41 CET by Adam

Motorcycling Thanks to a temperate winter, I am still riding my bike regularly, but the bike school closed for the year with a final organized tour in October. I think I was one of only two newbies along for the ride, all the others were old friends of my teacher -- former students.

The destination was a surprise. We first rode down to Kriens, and then climbed up an IMHO insanely steep dirt road to Alggi, as can be spotted in the valley above the Sarner See on the map below. After the descent we split up and most of the group headed home, while I opted to follow Urs for a ferry ride and a detour over Luzern before heading back. It was a truly wonderful and memorable trip, and I only almost killed myself a handful of times.
