Over the weekend Zurich had a blizzard unlike any in history, I'm told. Certainly I have not seen so much snow fall ever since I moved here. I was totally nostalgic for my times in Boston, where every winter comes with plenty of snow.
I also had a weird first: Building a snowman with my parents! When I was little my parents were not the playful types, so I never got to build a snowman with them even though there was always plenty of snow in the winter. And with my friends we always just had snowball fights. But on Sunday when I was over to my parents' place for lunch I asked my mom if she wanted to build a snowman with me, and she agreed, and then my dad jointed in too. I love having first time experiences I was supposed to have with 5 when I'm nearing 30.... *grin*
